Virtual PC for Macintosh (vendor: Microsoft) emulates Microsoft Windows on Macintosh OS X, permitting access to most applications that run on Microsoft Windows. Virtual PC may not work for all applications.

Under the Microsoft Campus Agreement, Virtual PC may only be used for Brown-related projects, whether on computers owned or leased by Brown University or on computers personally owned by covered users. Covered users are defined as faculty and staff of Brown University.

Virtual PC must be uninstalled when the user is no longer affiliated with Brown University, and may not be installed on computers belonging to other institutions.
