Installation
  1. WARNING: Backing up your system before making any changes is strongly advised. You should quit all applications before running this update. This update requires you to restart your system.
  2. You must be logged in with an administrator account to run this update.
  3. Download the jaguar dst fix from the link below (jaguardstupdate.dmg) to your desktop.
  4. Double click jaguardstupdate.dmg to mount the disk image (jagdstfix) to your desktop if it has not already mounted.
  5. Launch the Terminal application (located in Applications/Utilities/) and type:
    sudo  -s
    Then press enter.
  6. You will be requested to enter your Administrator password.
    Enter your password. (No characters will appear on your display.) Press Enter.
  7. You should now be at the root prompt:
    root#
  8. Drag the patch-jaguartzb.sh file from the jagdstfix disk image on your desktop to the terminal window.
  9. You should have a path that looks something like this at the root#
    root# /Volumes/jagdstfix/patch-jaguartzb.sh
  10. Press enter and the script should run and give you status info as it runs. If the script fails at some point, these messages will help point to the problem.
  11. When the script is done, you'll return to the root# prompt.
    Type "reboot" (without the quotes) and press Enter to restart your system now.
