Special
Instructions

Safari users who have set Adobe to display PDFs in their browsers may have difficulty downloading PDF syllabuses from courses.brown. This appears to be a security issue between Adobe and Web-Auth. Set your Safari browser to use Preview when downloading PDFs rather than Adobe. To make this change:

  1. Open Adobe Reader (located in your Applications folder) and select "Preferences" from the "Adobe Reader" menu.
  2. Choose Internet from the left menu.
  3. Make sure that the option "Display PDF in browser using:" is NOT checked.
