MSDN Academic AllianceWhat is the MSDN Academic Alliance?Microsoft has donated a subscription to the Microsoft Developer Network Academic Alliance (MSDN-AA). The software provided by this gift may be used by Brown University for non-profit research and instructional use only. Due to these restrictions, most Brown staff members are not eligible to use this software. More details about the MSDN-AA program are available at the MSDN Academic Alliance home page. What MSDN Academic Alliance software titles are available?The following products are available:
Windows XP Professional (SP2) is the only MSDN-AA software that is supported by CIS. MSDN-AA minimum hardware and operating system recommendations MSDN-AA usage guidelines. How can I obtain MSDN Academic Alliance software?Students, faculty, and staff may borrow CDs containing the MSDN-AA software from the Help Desk located in Room 101 in the CIT. Help Desk staff may be reached by phone at 863-HELP (863-4357), or by email at Help at brown.edu. All users must agree to the terms of the MSDN End User License Agreement (EULA) and its amendments.
