Brown University has agreements with Microsoft for licensing and acquiring software under a few programs. Details are provided in the table below.

EES is an annual licensing program for higher education institutions. Brown University's agreement covers faculty and staff only (students are covered for Core CALs only). Contact Software_Services if you need to run Microsoft Advanced Servers. |

| Microsoft Select Plus Program |
An option for higher education customers to purchase Microsoft licenses and media for software not covered under EES. Software available via the Select program may be purchased by Brown University faculty and staff. Students are not eligible. (Students may purchase Student Software - see below). Software purchased under the Microsoft Select Plus Program is exclusively for use on Brown University owned computers. |
