Microsoft Campus Agreement Home Use

Faculty and Staff Home Use Guidelines

Users are not licensed to use Microsoft Campus Agreement software at home for personal purposes. However, the following products may be used for Brown-related activities on personal computers owned by faculty/staff who are covered under the Microsoft Campus Agreement:

• Microsoft Windows XP Professional upgrade
• Microsoft Office (Windows and Macintosh versions)
• Microsoft Visual Studio .NET

Covered faculty and staff may install this software on personal computers for Brown-related activities only. (Hospital-based faculty and staff may not be eligible.)

Software installed on personal computers must be removed if the faculty or staff member leaves the University or sells their computer.
