FileMaker Pro 6 Installation Notes

• When you insert the FileMaker CD a menu of options will appear, to select an option (e.g. "Install FileMaker Pro 6") press the arrow next to the option.
• The FileMaker installation code is written on the CD, you will be required to provide this code during installation.
• Do NOT register FileMaker, your copy of FileMaker is registered under the Brown University license.
• While FM Pro 6 will work with databases created with earlier versions, once a database has been opened by someone using version 6.0, that database cannot be opened by someone using a previous version of FileMaker.
