Warning! Linux software is unsupported by CIS. Install and use at your own risk.

Instructions for Ubuntu 8.04 (intentionally left non-specific to accommodate various configurations):

  1. Download the Brown.pcf file from our software download page.
  2. In your package manager, install kvpnc, vpnc, and network-manager-vpnc (you must have the 'universe' repositories enabled).
  3. Open KVPNC from the main menu.
  4. Use the 'import PCF file' feature of KVPNC to import Brown.pcf.
  5. You should now be able to connect to the Brown VPN concentrator from your Linux box.
